What is SASMO?

The Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO), organised by the Singapore International Math Contests Centre (SIMCC), is one of Asia's largest international math competitions. Started in 2006 with 155 participants, it now draws over 20,000 students from 19+ countries every year.

SASMO blends school-level mathematics with higher-order thinking (HOTS) and Olympiad-style problems — making it an ideal first Olympiad for younger students, and a strong stepping stone toward bigger competitions like IMO, RMO and INMO.
